Antique Silver. Transformed.

Waresmiths creates handmade jewelry from antique silver cutlery sourced across Europe and North America. Sterling silver spoon rings, bracelets, pendants, and earrings, each shaped from a single piece of vintage silverware in our Prague studio.

No two pieces are alike. The silver carries hallmarks, patterns, and patina from decades or centuries of use. A Georgian teaspoon becomes a ring you wear every day. A Victorian dessert fork becomes a cuff bracelet. The history endures; only the form changes.

Every piece in our collection is genuine antique silverware, never reproduced, never mass-manufactured. Whether sterling silver, coin silver, or antique silver plate, each comes with provenance you can trace and full transparency about its composition.

    Why Waresmiths

Antique cutlery is disappearing. Every year, irreplaceable silverware is melted down, discarded at estate sales, or forgotten in drawers. Waresmiths rescues these pieces before they vanish and transforms them into one-of-a-kind jewelry that carries their story forward.

We source antique silver from estate sales, dealers, and private collections across Europe and the United States. Each piece is selected for the quality of its silver, the beauty of its pattern, and the history embedded in its hallmarks. Our silversmiths in Prague then reshape it by hand: cutting, forming, polishing, and finishing each ring, bracelet, or pendant individually.

What emerges cannot be replicated. When the source piece is gone, it is gone. Every Waresmiths creation is as rare as the antique it came from.

    What We Make

Spoon rings crafted from antique sterling silver spoons. Fork bracelets and cuff bangles shaped from vintage silver forks. Pendants cut from ornate knife handles and serving pieces. Earrings fashioned from the smallest and most delicate antique silver we find.

Each category draws from silverware spanning the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco periods: real heritage silver with hallmarks that tell you exactly where and when it was made.

    Real Antique Silver.

Most Waresmiths pieces are crafted from genuine sterling silver or antique coin silver. Some antique cutlery arrives silver-plated, and when a piece is beautiful enough, we work with that too. Every listing states exactly what the silver composition is: no stainless steel, no modern base metals. When you buy from Waresmiths, you know precisely what you are wearing.
